Alexander Parris - Financial Advisor

Alexander Parris was born and raised in Saint-Petersburg, Russia.

From 1979 to 1981 he served in the Russian Army. Military training has taught him discipline, rapid decision-making and stress management - important qualities in dealing with money and emotions. Alexander earned his advanced degree in chemistry from St. Petersburg University in 1983.

In 1988 Alexander and his family moved to the U.S. and settled down in Maryland.

He started his career in the financial services industry in 1995 with Dean Witter in Washington, DC, where he developed a holistic approach in helping his clients grow and preserve their wealth.  In 2008, Alexander started Financial Securities Services, LLC in Rockville, MD.

Financial Securities Services, LLC is an independent financial advisory firm, not restricted to any investment product or service, therefore working exclusively for the benefit of its clients and their families.

Alexander is known for his personal approach to building relationships with his clients and for his desire to make a difference. His clients represent a broad spectrum of professionals including retired government employees, teachers, physicians and business owners. As a Financial Advisor, Alexander believes in helping clients to create a secure future for themselves and their families. His areas of expertise include retirement planning, college planning, investment planning, life insurance analysis, and Long Term Care solutions. He also has a great deal of experience in handling complex transactions involving foreign clients.

Alexander is licensed to practice in the following states: MD, VA, DC, NY, NC, OH, CA, FL and CO.

Outside of his business activities Alexander has a lot of other interests, including travelling and home remodeling. He also sings and plays a keyboard in his ParrisTroika band.
